Terms
Last updated 31 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Scone.Link, whether you have an account (a host) or are booking time with someone who does (a guest). By using the service you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
Your account
- You need to be at least 16 to open an account.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Your username is your public address. We may reclaim a username that impersonates someone, infringes a trade mark, or has been inactive for over a year.
What you put on your page
You keep ownership of your content. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you share your page with, which is what the service is for. Do not publish anything unlawful, misleading, hateful, or that you do not have the right to share, and do not use Scone.Link to send spam or collect people’s details under false pretences. We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.
Bookings
A booking is an arrangement between the host and the guest. Scone.Link holds the slot and sends the emails, but is not a party to the meeting itself and is not responsible for whether it goes ahead or what happens in it. Hosts are responsible for their own hours, prices and cancellation rules, and for how they treat the guest details they receive.
If you connect Google Calendar, we read your busy times and add bookings to your main calendar. We do our best to keep both in step, but you should check your calendar before relying on it for anything important.
Plans and payment
- The Free plan costs nothing and has no time limit.
- Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance at the price shown on the pricing page when you subscribe. Paddle sells the subscription as merchant of record, and its buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
- You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then moves to Free.
- If you are a UK or EU consumer, you can cancel within 14 days of first subscribing for a full refund.
- We will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before changing the price of a plan you are on.
The service
We aim to keep Scone.Link running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable or never contain mistakes. We may change or remove features. If we ever close the service, we will give account holders at least 60 days’ notice and a way to export their data.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or missed opportunities, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to what you paid us in that time, or £50 if that is more.
Ending your account
You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@scone.link. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Changes and disputes
If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protections of your local consumer law and can bring a claim where you live.
